"The issue of sexual harassment in the workplace in Armenia": presentation of research results

On April 3, the Women’s Resource Center presented the results of the study “The Issue of Sexual Harassment in the Workplace in Armenia” at an event organized together with the Solidarity Center Armenia. The presentation of the study was attended by representatives of the RA government, deputies of the National Assembly, non-governmental organizations engaged in human rights activities, and the media. During the event, protection of the integrity and dignity of employees in the workplace, prevention of sexual harassment and the establishment of appropriate sanctions by the state policy were highlighted.

We hope that next week the draft amendments to the Labor Code will be adopted in the second reading in the National Assembly, which will provide prevention and protection mechanisms to make the workplace more dignified.
