Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights

Women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights are an integral part of the human rights agenda; it is vital for the state to regulate the access of these rights to all groups of women through its policies. These rights are one of the most important decision-making mechanisms for a woman’s body, life and health. It is no coincidence that the realization of this right is associated with a number of deep stereotypes, prejudices, discriminatory, harmful perceptions and norms, which are designed to limit the opportunities and rights of women to make free choices in Armenia.
