Beijing+25 Regional Review Meeting

Nearly 25 years ago, more than 30000 feminists met at the 4th World Conference on Women, to set the political agenda for the future. 25 years after Beijing, during 3 days governments, international institutions & CSOs came together, all around the globe for stocktaking & forward-looking strategies. CSOs & governments discussed challenges against & future of gender equality in UNECE region, 28-30 Oct’19. How much we progressed on vision of Beijing? How can we synergize #beijing25 & #SDGs creating an equal future for all? The Women’s Resource Center Armenia was also part of these meetings. Ms. Anna Hovhannisyan, Advocacy officer of the organization raised several important issues related to women’s rights in Armenia.
