Art therapy group

Art therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses the creative process of making art to improve a person’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being. WRCA initiated an 8-week Art therapy group sessions aimed to improve self-esteem of the participants, to create an atmosphere where the participants will talk about interpersonal relations, will develop self- care, coping skills and etc. In a supportive, non-judgmental and confidential space, participants can paint and raise issues connected with women rights, gender based violence and other discriminatory practices in their live. Group sessions are open for girls and women of any age and take place once a week at our centre.
