Girls talk


A recent study showed that girls are more likely to grow up believing they are less smart and powerful than boys. In this regard, the Women’s Resource Center organizing the Girl’s Talk project which gives girls, between 13 and 17 years old, a free and safe space to interact with each other, to share their knowledge and strength, to become aware of gender and feminist issues, to help them build strong self-esteem, and to learn leadership skills that can be life-changing for them and will help them eventually see themselves as leaders in their society. Girl's Talk is all about learning, participating, sharing and empowering teenage girls.
